Add your photos, pop in the key details and choose whether you’re happy to sell, swap or both. Once it’s approved, your item is live and ready to be discovered by the Clobber Swap community.

What is Clobber Swap?
Clobber Swap is an online member marketplace where you can create your own wardrobe space to swap, buy, and sell your clothing with a community of like-minded fashion lovers. Each member has their own profile and wardrobe, making it easy to manage items and connect with buyers.
How do I become a member?
To become a Clobber Sister, simply create your account, pick your subscription, and you’re ready to start selling, swapping and buying!
How does selling work on Clobber Swap?
You can start selling your preloved clobber in a few simple steps. Click ‘Sell Now’, upload at least 3 clear and authentic images of your item, fill in all the required fields, and publish your listing.
Is there a fee to join or sell?
You can join using our free tier and pay 12% commission when an item sells. Alternatively, become a Clobber Sister for
£4.99 per month and enjoy 0% commission, access to our private Facebook community and additional member
benefits. Founding members will continue on their existing £3.99 membership while their subscription remains active.
Is there any commission on sales?
Clobber Sisters and approved Pro Sellers pay 0% commission on sales. Members using our free tier pay 12%
commission each time an item sells.
Can I list an item on Facebook as well as the website?
Yes. Clobber Sisters can also share their website listings in our private Facebook community. If your item sells through
either platform, please remove or update the other listing straight away to avoid selling it twice.
Can I start on a free membership and upgrade later?
Absolutely! We’re confident that once you get a feel for the Clobber Swap sisterhood, you’ll want to join the family. Simply change your subscription in the ‘Subscription’ section of your dashboard to upgrade and enjoy all the benefits of becoming an official member.
How does swapping work?
To swap an item, simply select the item you’d like to swap for, click ‘Offer a Swap’ and choose one of your listed items to offer. Select ‘Make a Swap Offer’, and the other person can then either accept, decline or send a counteroffer.
You’ll find this in your ‘Swap Zone’ area on the dashboard. This is where you can accept, decline, or counteroffer swaps of your own.
Please note that swapping is an exclusive feature for Clobber Swap members only- just another reason to become an official Clobber Sister!
How can I follow a Clobber Buddy?
You can follow other Clobber Sisters by clicking on their avatar, and hitting the follow button on the right-hand side of their page.
How does the search tool work?
The search tool is there to make finding your next preloved bargain easier than ever. Search for the item or brand that you’re looking for, and the results will pop up for you to choose from.
Can I list men’s items or homeware?
Currently, we are only accepting listings of women’s clothing, shoes and accessories, but we may bring men’s items and homeware to the platform in the future. Who knows…
Can I pause my membership?
We don't currently offer the option to pause a membership. You can cancel after the initial three-month period and rejoin
later at the membership price available at that time.
I am trade seller of vintage / preloved clothes, do I need a different membership?
Yes. If you regularly source clothing specifically to resell, you will need our £14.99-per-month Pro Seller membership.
This includes unlimited listings and 0% commission on sales. Pro Seller accounts are subject to approval.
Can I join the private community group on FB if I am on a free tier membership?
Our private Facebook community is an exclusive benefit for paying Clobber Sisters and approved Pro Sellers. You can
upgrade through the Subscription section of your dashboard.
How many items can I list?
Clobber Sisters can have up to 20 active listings at one time. Approved Pro Sellers receive unlimited listings as part of
their £14.99 monthly membership
What is Stripe Connect?
Stripe Connect securely links your bank account to your Clobber Swap seller account so you can receive money when
an item sells. It is separate from the Stripe payment used for your monthly membership.
Do I need to set up Stripe Connect before listing an item?
You can create your profile and begin building your wardrobe, but Stripe Connect must be completed before you can
receive payments from sales.
How long does Stripe Connect take to set up?
It usually takes around 4-5 minutes if you have your personal and bank details ready. Stripe may occasionally request additional information or identity checks before approving your account.
Do Pro Sellers set up Stripe Connect differently?
No. All sellers complete the same Stripe Connect process to receive sales payments. Your chosen membership controls your listing allowance and benefits.
Why does Stripe Connect say my account is pending?
Stripe may still be checking your details or require further information. Sign back into Stripe Connect and look for any outstanding steps or verification requests.
Why isn't my subscription showing on my account?
This can happen if you used a different email address for your membership payment and your Clobber Swap account.
Contact us with both email addresses so we can investigate and help match the correct account.
My payment succeeded, so why does my membership show as cancelled?
A successful payment does not always mean the recurring subscription is still active. Please contact us so we can check the subscription and confirm the status of your membership.
Can I use a different email address for Stripe?
We recommend using the same email address for your Clobber Swap account, membership payment and Stripe Connect setup. This makes it much easier to identify your account if you ever need help.
How do I add or change my profile photo and description?
Sign in, click your round profile image and select 'Edit Profile'. Add a clear photograph and a short description of your style to make your wardrobe feel personal and help other members get to know you.
Will my item appear immediately after I list it?
Listings may be checked before appearing on the website. Please include clear, genuine photographs and accurate details to help your item be approved quickly.
What photographs should I use?
Please upload at least three clear, genuine photographs showing the actual item and its condition. You may add a stock image as an extra reference, but it should not replace photographs of the item you are selling.
What happens if I edit an existing listing?
Your changes may need to be checked again before the updated item appears. This helps us maintain the quality and trustworthiness of listings across Clobber Swap.
How do I find and follow other Clobber Sisters?
When you find an item you like, click the seller's profile image to visit their wardrobe, then select 'Follow'. Following Clobber Buddies makes it easier to keep up with their latest listings
Can anybody become a Pro Seller?
Pro Seller accounts are approved carefully to protect the quality and values of Clobber Swap. We welcome genuine sellers of good-quality pre-loved and vintage fashion, but we do not accept poor-quality, counterfeit or mass-produced imported stock.
Can I advertise my business in the Facebook group?
No. Our Facebook community is for Clobber Swap listings and member interaction, not general business promotion.
Approved Pro Sellers may share their eligible Clobber Swap listings in line with our community rules.
What happens if I cancel my membership?
Your paid membership benefits will end in accordance with our membership terms.
If you rejoin later, the membership price available at that time will apply, and any previous founding-member rate may no longer be available.
Will Clobber Swap ever ask for my bank details over message?
No. We will never ask for bank details, passwords, or other sensitive information through website messages.
I've received a suspicious message. What should I do?
Don't click any links or share any information. Take a screenshot and send it to the Clobber Swap team at membership@clobberswap.co.uk so that we can investigate.
How will I know if my account gets suspended?
Any official account action will be communicated directly by email. We will never ask you to reactivate your account through a website message or external link.
What is the checkout & transaction fee?
The checkout & transaction fee is a small fee (6% + 70p) added at checkout to help cover secure payment processing and platform costs. This ensures tracked and secure payments via the website, and it ultimately keeps you and your account safe.
Do you pay the transaction fee as a seller?
No. The checkout & transaction fee is paid by the buyer at checkout, not by the seller.
How do I withdraw money from my Clobber Swap account?
Money you make from sales will appear in your Clobber Swap wallet.
To withdraw it, log into your account, go to My Account → Withdraw, enter the amount you’d like to withdraw and follow the instructions. Your payment will then be processed securely through your connected Stripe account and paid to your registered bank account.
Please note: You need to have fully completed your Stripe account setup before you can withdraw funds. Min withdrawal amount £30
