I’m all about wearing clothes that make me feel comfortable, confident and, most importantly, like me. I’ve never been one for following fashion trends just because everyone else is - I wear what I like, what feels good and what makes me happy. I don’t believe in dressing for my age either; clothes are about expressing who you are, not a number. I love being creative and making my own clothes, with sewing and crochet being two of my favourite ways to spend my time. Most of the time, you’ll find me wearing something I’ve made myself, which makes my wardrobe feel even more personal and unique. I’m a size 12–14 and love finding pieces that work for my shape while still reflecting my personality. My everyday style is usually dressed down and comfortable, but I absolutely love dressing up when I’m heading out. Give me something quirky, unusual or a little bit different and I’m happy! I’m also a big lover of accessories, especially silver jewellery, because it can turn even the simplest outfit into something that feels completely my own. And when summer arrives, you’ll often find me at festivals, where I play with the band Drum Machine. Festival season is definitely my time to have fun with fashion — think quirky pieces, handmade creations, fun accessories and outfits that let me express my personality. For me, fashion isn’t about fitting in. It’s about feeling comfortable, being creative, having fun and wearing whatever makes me feel like myself.
